Send Your Location and Camera Straight to WeatherPower.

Live Broadcast lets you share your location and live camera feed directly with WeatherPower from the app or the web — giving our team a real-time look at the storm as it happens, for use in WeatherPower's own severe weather coverage. What used to be simple viewer dots on the map is now a whole new system. Other radar apps lock live storm-feed tools like this behind a paid tier. On WeatherPower, it's free.

WP-00 // OUR STANCE NO PAYWALLS
Let's Talk About This
Severe Weather Isn't a Premium Feature.

A lot of weather apps make you pay to know what's coming. Basic radar? Locked. Real NEXRAD data instead of a blurry animation? Locked. Desktop app? Locked. Ad-free? Locked. Severe weather doesn't wait for you to upgrade to premium, so why does the information that keeps you safe? WeatherPower was built on one rule: if it can save your life or keep you informed, it should never be behind a paywall.

🔒What Other Apps Charge For

Hourly forecasts past the first day or two
Severe weather alerts that actually arrive on time

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions About WeatherPower & the Beta.

A few quick answers about how WeatherPower is built, what beta testers do, and what to expect after signing up.

Does WeatherPower use AI to generate or make updates to the app?
WeatherPower is not automatically generated by AI. We sometimes use AI tools to help find and fix bugs and to inspire ideas for new features. The rest of WeatherPower's code, updates, design decisions, testing, and management are handled by humans.
Is the WeatherPower beta program free?
Yes. There is no charge to apply for or participate in the WeatherPower beta program.
What will beta testers get to test?
Testing opportunities may include early app updates, radar improvements, redesigned tools, and experimental features before they are released publicly. What is available can vary by platform and development stage.
Do I need coding or weather experience?
No. Useful beta feedback can come from anyone. We mainly need testers who will try features, explain what worked or failed, and report problems clearly.
Should I expect bugs in beta versions?
Yes. Beta builds are unfinished test versions, so some features may break, change, or behave differently than the public release. Finding those problems is the reason the beta exists.
What makes a helpful bug report?
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and which device or browser you used. Screenshots or screen recordings can also make a problem much easier to understand.
How will I know whether I was accepted?
WeatherPower will review applications and contact selected testers using the email address submitted with the form. Make sure the address is correct before signing up.
Where do approved testers download beta builds?
Approved testers sign in to the Beta Tester Portal on this page. The portal shows only the current builds and release notes assigned to that tester's Firebase account.
Is being a beta tester a paid job?
No. The beta program is a voluntary testing program and is not employment or a paid position.
